Ejiabor Rita

Rigorous with data. Human with the results.

I’ve never been particularly good at choosing just one thing to be interested in. In Computer Science, that has turned out to be useful.I’ve found myself moving between machine learning, software development, data, artificial intelligence, and research. Sometimes I do this because I have a problem I want to solve, and sometimes simply because I want to understand how something works.I love the process of going from “I wonder if this is possible” to actually building it and finding out.

Alongside my studies at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, I’ve taught quantitative subjects to primary school pupils, led financial-literacy outreach as a Cowrywise Student Ambassador, and facilitated ML workshops for Women Techmakers Nsukka. Explaining complex ideas to different audiences is, I think, half the job, and honestly the part I enjoy most.
